A lot of the time I read or go online instead of doing my homework. Both are addictive and bad for my grades. D:

Ah, yeah. I don't really visit vampire or vampyre websites, but I've been meaning to read up on them more. And yes, I've read some books where vampires have "auras" to protect themselves from other vampires taking their energy or penetrating their thoughts. Amelia Atwater-Rhodes is one good author for that. She's young but her books Demon in My View, In the Forests of the Night, and Shattered Glass are all great.

Because I saw that vampires were one of your interests. :]
But they really are fascinating. I absolutely love vampire books. After reading Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz, I learned that vampires used to be spelled vam-pyres, which means fire angels. I thought that was really cool.
