Happy holidays, Kirsty. :]

Haha, I don't want to turn 17 because it's one year closer to 18 and being legally responsible and all. :[ Plus I like the number 16.

I feel that way about time so often. I feel like each day goes by faster than before.

yeah but I feel old :(
time is passing by too quickly

Really? Most people want to leave high school drama behind, and prefer the freedom of college. But I guess it's also scary being on your own.

wow you're so young lol
I'll be a junior in college in January. I wish I was still in high school :(

I know the feeling.

Eh, I started junior year...should be fun stuff. Cough.

yep, it has been a while.
England's going great. Whenever I come back here to visit, it feels like home again after a couple of weeks. It's weird. What have you been up to since we last talked?

Posted by falsetigerlimbs on Sep 9, 07 2:28 pm

Veeery long time no talk. How's it been in England? :D

Hello, I haven't talked to you in a while. How are you? (:

Aw, that sucks. :|
A lot of the time I read or go online instead of doing my homework. Both are addictive and bad for my grades. D:

I wish I had the time to read vampire books.
I have too much required reading for school. I have zero time to read books for leisure. :(
I slack off too much on the internet though. That doesn't help either.

Ah, yeah. I don't really visit vampire or vampyre websites, but I've been meaning to read up on them more. And yes, I've read some books where vampires have "auras" to protect themselves from other vampires taking their energy or penetrating their thoughts. Amelia Atwater-Rhodes is one good author for that. She's young but her books Demon in My View, In the Forests of the Night, and Shattered Glass are all great.

Ah, ok. I had forgotten I wrote that there. lol.
Well vampires are actually still called "vampyres"
REAL vampires call themselves vampyres to distinguish themselves from movie vampires and such.
For example: http://www.realvampyres.net/si te/
That's a site for real vampyres. Some vampyres just steal others' energy, not their blood.
It's interesting, isn't it?

Because I saw that vampires were one of your interests. :]
But they really are fascinating. I absolutely love vampire books. After reading Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz, I learned that vampires used to be spelled vam-pyres, which means fire angels. I thought that was really cool.

(And sorry in advance for when I go off on tangents about books. I do that very often.)

Posted by tokyo-rose on Jun 6, 07 6:48 pm

Yay, thanks!
No actually, I haven't. I don't watch movies very often. But I do love vampires! :D
Why do you ask?

Posted by falsetigerlimbs on Jun 6, 07 6:44 pm

Yup, you can. But you seem really nice so perhaps I should request to be your friend anyway. :]

Have you ever seen Interview with the Vampire?

Posted by tokyo-rose on Jun 6, 07 6:40 pm

Whoa whattt you can comment me without being my friend?
I'm so confused. lol.
Thanks though. ahaha
:D
